Separation of cargoes inside

It is necessary to fix cargo after loading it into vehicle. If the proper attention, time and facilities are not paid for this stage, the cargo can receive damage during the transportation.

There are some ways of separation of cargo with using of materials and special technologies:

The main way is to use the wooden braces.  The rules of their application are in detail described in corresponding documents for railway carriage. The mentioned way is traditional, rather cheap and reliable.

  • The laboriousness. For releasing of some kinds of products it is necessary to create the intact wooden constructions
  • Material used for braces should be of high quality (not raw, not overdried) and from the sort which is stipulated under the instructions.
  • Wooden fixing frames don't always sustain the loading.
  • The weight of fixing material increases s lot weight of the shipped production, and as a result the vehicle can be overloaded.

Another way of separation of cargo, using of coupling belts, is often used  in auto and container transportation.

Using coupling belts for lashing cargoes, it is necessary to take into consideration that production inside vehicle should be allocated, moreover evenly through about 1,5 m, that, certainly, leads to the decrease of cargo place in transport: the application of coupling belts is the most effective in cooperation with the ways of separation. Effective,but not very used way of separation of cargo it is the application of air packages.

The methods of filling of alleges with packages filled with air is in the base of such technology. In blown off condition the package is located between the cargo and pumped with compressed air until the alleges is filled. The air package prevents the shifting not only the cargo packages but the cargo inside the package.

Choosing the way  of separation it is necessary to realize their efficiency. Sometimes for the more reliable safe of cargo it is necessary to use not one way but several. Also, choosing the way of separation, you shouldn't forget, that after arrival of cargo at the place of destination, cargo can be damaged during the discharging. It can occur because of the fact that the special features of technical facilities using for discharging of products were not taken into consideration during choosing the way of separation. That's why, the stowage plan should be agreed with the consignee.
